About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the talented team at Marylou Sobel Interior Design as a Senior Interior Architect/Interior Designer. Based in the beautiful suburb of Woollahra, NSW, this full-time role will see you play a key part in the delivery of innovative and inspiring interior design projects for a discerning client base. It's a one year fixed position with the opportunity to stay on.

What you'll be doing

Leading the design process for high-end residential interior projects, from concept development through to final installation

Collaborating closely with clients to understand their vision and translate this into cohesive, functional and visually striking interior design solutions

Overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including sourcing and specifying materials, fixtures and furnishings

Managing client relationships and project timelines to ensure seamless delivery

Mentoring and providing guidance to more junior members of the design team

Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques and technologies

What we're looking for

8+ years' experience as an interior architect or interior designer, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality residential projects in Australia.

Strong technical design skills, including expertise in space planning, 3D modelling, materials selection and presentation. Vectorworks is a must.

Proficiency in Vectorworks (essential), AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, and Adobe Creative Suite

Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities

Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills

A creative, innovative and collaborative approach to design

Relevant tertiary qualifications in interior design.

Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent from an accredited institution

Must have permanent right to work in Australia
