About the Role

Nexus Traffic Australia are looking for a qualified and experienced TMD to join our growing operations in Southeast Queensland. In this role, you'll be responsible for producing fully compliant Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Traffic Management Plans (TMP) across a diverse range of construction and infrastructure projects.

The purpose of this position is to facilitate the timely delivery of traffic management to support the scheduled and reactive works. Collaborating with a dynamic team to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Creation and quality assurance of simple and complex traffic guidance schemes and traffic management plans in accordance with client requirements, company guidelines and relevant standards

Liaise with clients to fully understand their job requirements and expectations

Provide optional and alternative treatment advice to meet client requirements

Successful coordination of job requirements between internal teams

Experience in traffic management design

Strong Knowledge of relevant technical documents

Experience designing in Rapid Plan (Invarion) or similar

Time Management skills and ability to prioritise workload

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Current QLD licenses (TMD, TC, TMI & Drivers License)

Be proficient at Microsoft Office & Excel

Experience with submitting Permit applications with Local Authorities, Department of Transport & Main Roads & QPS (preferred but not essential)

High-level administrative skills and computer literacy

Effective collaboration and resolution skills to effectively problem-solve prior to escalating to management for resolution

Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification to uphold the highest safety standards
