Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, are Seeking the experience of a Senior Cyber Security Analyst for a 12 + 12 month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Assist monitoring, investigation, and mitigation of security incidents with Splunk.
• Analysing security event data and identifying suspicious and malicious activity from networks and systems.
• Assist monitoring, investigation, and mitigation of security issues with vulnerability scanner.
• Escalating and investigating complex incidents, engaging with subject matter experts and management.
• Assist implementing and maintain Information Security Manual (ISM) controls across systems and networks.

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in a Security/Network Operations Centre roles (or similar).
• Demonstrated experience implementing Information Security Manual (ISM) controls.
• Familiarity with Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and government compliance obligations.
• Familiarity in security operations tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners).
• Ability to interpret logs, alerts, and threat intelligence for incident response and continuous improvement.
