Role Overview:
As a Health & Wellbeing Advisor at Norco, you'll be at the forefront of promoting health and wellbeing, preventing workplace injuries, and ensuring effective injury management and return-to-work processes for injured workers. This is your chance to make a tangible difference in a supportive and dynamic team.
This role would suit someone with an exercise physiology or occupational therapy degree looking to into occupational rehabilitation/education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Injury Management: Lead early intervention and workers' compensation processes.
- Training & Coaching: Empower managers and supervisors in injury reporting and management.
- Strategic Planning: Drive WHS improvements and compliance with legislation.
- Research: Wok with external research agencies to develop wellbeing initiatives.
- Data Analysis: Review and analyse injury reports to inform strategic decisions.
- Legislation Updates: Stay ahead of changes in workers' compensation and WHS laws.
- Initiative Development: Plan and implement wellbeing and injury management initiatives.
- External Coordination: Manage pre-employment medicals, workplace assessments, and more.
- Accident Investigation: Determine causes and corrective actions for workplace incidents.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Accreditation: NSW Workover Advanced RTW Coordinator (can be obtained after commencing in the role).
- Education: Degree in Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy or Health and Rehabilitation.
- Experience: Proven track record in developing rehabilitation and education programs.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of health and wellbeing.
- Skills: Strong investigative and mentoring abilities.
