About the area
The Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure has partnered with researchers to evaluate the impact of Boorloo Bridge, a new pedestrian and cyclist bridge in East Perth. This survey project will gather first-hand community insights and user feedback to inform future active transport infrastructure across Western Australia.
About the opportunity
- Engage pedestrians and cyclists on Boorloo Bridge to complete short iPad-based surveys.
- Answer questions, distribute flyers and provide information to participants.
- Track responses, report daily progress and contribute to meaningful research findings.
About you
- Currently enrolled university student (UWA, Curtin, ECU, Murdoch or Notre Dame preferred).
- Confident and friendly communicator, comfortable approaching people.
- Reliable and enthusiastic, with strong attention to detail and initiative.
- Available to work during September 2025 across varied shifts.
- Previous survey or customer-facing experience is desirable but not essential.
Special Requirements
- Willingness to work outdoors in public spaces.
- Ability to travel to East Perth during shift times.
