The Role
We’re looking for Casual Leading Hand in Esperance. This is a hands-on position which will have the successful applicant working alongside fellow trolley collectors, leading by example, and overseeing the quality and effective service delivery in line with contractual obligations.

Daily Job Requirements:

Provide leadership to trolley collectors to deliver a high quality of service

Complete all new employee onsite Inductions

Assist with recruitment of Trolley Collector employees

Trolley street collection

Scheduling/rostering for trolley staff

Maintain accurate and current records of all interactions with trolley staff

Assist in the fostering of a positive, friendly, and safe work environment

Collecting trolleys from in and around the store and store carpark

Ensuring trolleys are in a clean condition, ready for customer use

Regularly checking areas around the site for stray trolleys and return

Liaising with the Assistant Labour Hire Manager

Essential Criteria:

Friendly and customer focused

Reliable with a positive work ethic

Able to work on your own and follow instructions

Physically fit

Available as required on weekends to respond to out of hours calls for trolley collection services

Have, or are able to obtain, a National Police Clearance

Driver’s License

Australian Work Rights

Desirable Criteria (but not essential):

Previous Trolley Collection experience

Senior First Aid Certificate
