About Us
For over 75 years, Orana has proudly supported South Australians with disability to live fulfilling and independent lives. We provide employment, housing, training, skill development, life skills support, and short-term accommodation to more than 650 people across the state. As a values-led organisation, we place the people we support at the centre of every decision we make.
Orana offers both Supported Independent Living (group houses) and in-home support services, always with a focus on dignity, choice, and inclusion.
About the Role
As a Client Coach (Support Worker), you will create a safe, positive, and empowering environment that enables people with disability to grow, thrive, and achieve their goals. Every day is different – you may be supporting personal care, building life skills, helping someone attend medical appointments, or encouraging independence at home.
These are casual opportunities with shifts available across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overnight (active and passive).
About You
We’re looking for people who are compassionate, adaptable, and committed to making a real difference. You’ll have experience working with people with disability, particularly those with high care needs or behaviours of concern, and you’ll bring patience, resilience, and a strong person-centred approach.
You thrive working independently but also enjoy being part of a supportive team guided by a Team Leader and Service Manager.
What You’ll Do
Support clients to achieve their personal goals and live with independence.
Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
Provide respectful, person-centred support in all interactions.
Administer medication and attend medical appointments.
Support clients with financial tasks and documentation.
Record case notes and report incidents accurately.
Build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Assist Team Leaders with compliance tasks, training, and paperwork as needed.
What You’ll Bring
Experience as a Disability Support Worker (or similar role).
A genuine passion for supporting people with disability.
Essential qualifications and requirements:
Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or Aged Care.
Current First Aid & CPR.
Current NDIS Worker Check and National Police Clearance.
Full SA driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
Flexibility to work across a rotating 24/7 roster, including overnight shifts.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.
Why Join Orana?
Be part of an organisation with 75 years of impact in South Australia.
Work in a supportive team that values diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
Opportunities to build your skills through training and development.
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of people every day.
How to Apply
