Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and organised Furniture Support professional to assist our Furniture Specialist in delivering high-quality office fit-out projects. This role is essential to the smooth execution of furniture planning, logistics, and installation processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent coordination skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong interest in office interiors and workplace design.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Furniture Specialist in the preparation of furniture schedules, specifications, and proposals.
Support space planning activities by gathering measurements, creating inventories, and helping with basic layouts or drawings (if applicable).
Liaise with suppliers and logistics providers to coordinate delivery schedules, product lead times, and installation dates.
Help track and manage furniture orders, deliveries, and inventory.
Conduct site visits to support installation processes, including unpacking, setting out, and snagging assistance.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, installation progress, and any on-site issues.
Provide general administrative support such as filing documents, updating project trackers, and communicating with internal teams.
Assist with client presentations, product samples, and showroom visits when required.
Support post-installation tasks including client handover, punch list resolution, and aftercare coordination.
Requirements:
1–2 years of experience in a project support, logistics, or administrative role (preferably within furniture, interiors, or construction).
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working on-site during furniture installations.
Basic knowledge of office furniture systems and terminology is a plus.
Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); knowledge of AutoCAD or other design tools is a bonus.
Positive attitude and a collaborative, hands-on approach to supporting the team.
Desirable Qualities:
Interest in office design, interiors, or space planning.
Ability to lift and assist with minor physical tasks during installations.
Keen to learn and develop within a commercial interiors or fit-out environment.
