The opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Clinical Nurse of Anaesthetics to join our day surgery team. Anaesthetic experience is highly regarded, we would welcome Recovery Experience as well.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and compassionate care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.
In this role, you will:
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care with a strong focus on patient safety and surgical excellence.
- Perform anaesthetic/recovery functions depending on your experience.
- Liaise effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other theatre staff to ensure seamless case flow.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Actively contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement of clinical practices.

Servicing Adelaide’s north-eastern suburbs, Windsor Gardens Day Surgery is an accredited, architecturally designed, state-of-the-art surgical facility for various specialties including ophthalmic surgery.
Using advanced scientific techniques and equipment, our day hospital doctors, nurses and theatre teams uphold Windsor Gardens Day Surgery’s commitment to providing first-class, bespoke care across all of our services, including ophthalmology, plastic surgery and dental.
The day surgery is part of the 480 Specialist Centre on North East Road and is co-located with a number of other specialist health services.
About you
We’re looking for a nurse who is calm under pressure, clinically confident, and passionate about delivering exceptional surgical care.
You will also bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience in a perioperative setting is essential (anaesthetics highly desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team.
- Commitment to infection control, WHS and quality improvement.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
