About the role

This is a part-time Registered Nurse role within the Home Care team at Wirraminna Care Inc', located in Williamstown, SA. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality, compassionate home care to elderly clients in the local community. Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, you will deliver specialised nursing care and support to help our clients live independently for as long as possible.

What you'll be doing

Providing clinical nursing care and assessment for clients in their own homes

Developing and implementing personalised care plans to meet each client's unique health and wellness needs

Monitoring clients' health, administering medications, and escalating any concerns to the broader care team

Collaborating with allied health professionals to ensure a coordinated, holistic approach to client care

Maintaining detailed client records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements

Promoting independence, dignity and choice for each client

Mentoring and supporting care workers to deliver the highest standards of home-based nursing care

Supervising/ maintaining the QMS for the Homecare team (think Audits, reviewing policies, processes).

What we're looking for

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

Significant experience in delivering high-quality nursing care, ideally within a home care or aged care setting

Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to person-centred care

Proficiency in using digital health technologies (Visual care) client management systems and Quality Managment systems (Centro QMS).

A genuine passion for helping older adults maintain their independence and quality of life
