DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Business Analyst in Melbourne.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping strategies to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with clients, assess business processes, analyse organisational shortcomings and recommend improvements to drive productivity and performance.

Your typical day at DSV:

Strategic Planning Assistance: Support the development of objectives and strategies aligned with organisational goals to enhance customer satisfaction and resource efficiency.

Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand business challenges and maintain effective communication to address their needs.

System Analysis: Evaluate current systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Process Observation: Collaborate with staff across all levels to observe workflows and document findings.

Solution Development: Design and recommend practical solutions to improve organisational structures and resolve issues.

Data Analysis: Analyse workflow charts, reports, and job descriptions to identify opportunities for enhancement.

Recommendations: Prepare proposals to revise procedures, redefine roles, and improve overall efficiency.

Implementation Assistance: Support the rollout of approved changes and update relevant documentation and manuals.

Quality Assurance: Monitor adherence to procedures and ensure changes align with organisational standards and objectives.

About you:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred) or 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Proficient in data analysis tools and business improvement methodologies.

Experience with documentation, reporting, and process optimisation.
