The Role

As a Business Analyst, you'll be the key link between stakeholders and development teams, translating business needs into effective digital solutions. The role is both strategic and hands-on, covering analysis, design, and delivery, while also providing guidance to other analysts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading workshops to map business processes and design improvements.
• Gathering and documenting requirements, translating them into user stories, prototypes, and wireframes.
• Conducting gap analyses and ensuring solutions align with business needs.
• Managing Agile delivery, including facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
• Creating process maps, workflows, and customer journey maps (UML, BPMN 2.0).
• Supporting BAU and major projects while staying up to date with emerging technologies.

Your Profile

Essential:

• Strong business analysis experience on large-scale or complex projects.
• Skilled in process modelling (UML, BPMN 2.0) and process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma desirable).
• Experience with user-friendly design tools (Figma, Balsamiq).
• Proven Agile delivery expertise, including leading Scrum ceremonies.
• Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts.
• Strong prioritisation and independent working skills.
• Leadership capability in mentoring other analysts.

Desirable:

• Local experience in a regulated or complex environment.
• CBAP certification.

Work Environment & Expectations

• Hybrid working model - 2 days in the office, with flexibility during peak periods.
• May require occasional travel within Victoria and overnight stays.
• Additional hours may be required during critical delivery phases.
• Employment subject to National Police Check, Working with Children Check (if applicable), and Right to Work check.
