We currently have 4 active projects on the Gold Coast and 1 in North Brisbane, totalling 400 townhouses in the pipeline. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Contract Administrator / Estimator to join our passionate team and help deliver our projects to the highest standards.
About the Role
This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives on both the technical and commercial sides of townhouse construction. You’ll be responsible for managing contracts, estimating costs, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You’ll work closely with our development managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Lead contract administration across multiple townhouse project
Prepare and manage head contracts, subcontracts, procurement schedules and purchase orders
Able to take off quantities from drawings
Oversee detailed cost estimating, tender analysis, and BOQs
Manage variations, RFIs, progress claims, and final accounts
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure alignment
Monitor budgets, timelines, and compliance with regulatory standards
Provide strategic input into project planning and risk management
Ensure compliance with building codes and contract terms
Support development team with cost planning and financial reporting
Support the site team with documentation and reporting
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in townhouse construction
Strong understanding of contract administration and estimating practices
Proficiency in estimating & project software (e.g. Data build and On-Site Companion)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying / construction management
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Proficiency with site management software and reporting tools (On-Site Companion)
