About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher – Electrical to join our Construction team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality vocational education and training in electrical programs, supporting students to achieve their learning and career goals.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and assess vocational electrical training using diverse adult learning methods across various learning environments

Support student success through engagement strategies, accurate record-keeping, and pastoral care, including follow-up on absences

Collaborate with colleagues and industry in curriculum development, validation, moderation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Provide leadership and guidance in specialist areas, including mentoring staff and advising on student and employer training needs

Stay current with industry and educational trends, integrating new technologies and practices into teaching and learning

Promote programs and build partnerships through community engagement, marketing, and facilitating vocational placements

Skills and Experience Required

Victorian Electrical A Grade License

Certificate III in Electrotechnology

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)

Demonstrated teaching experience and understanding of adult learning principles

Strong interpersonal, communication, and ICT skills

Ability to innovate and adapt to emerging needs

Knowledge of VET compliance and quality assurance frameworks

Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)

A National Police Check
