Bloom is looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead our FOH Team.

Our restaurant operates for breakfast and lunch 5-days per week (Thursday - Monday) with a focus on high quality products and great customer experience. Our kitchen serves locally-sourced, seasonal produce with a focus on wood-fired cooking alongside a selection of in-house pastries and breads. We offer specialty coffee, a curated cocktail menu and alcoholic beverages predominantly sourced from the regions of SA.

We are looking for someone to embrace our vision and provide hands-on leadership to our FOH team in delivering exceptional hospitality. You will also work closely with our broader management team to achieve team-oriented goals.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Oversee all front of house operations

Staff management including rostering, performance management and training

Respond to email enquiries, concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner

Ordering, waste management and stock control

Effectively manage and optimise booking system

Maintain and advocate for quality and consistency through systems and leadership

Work with broader management team to achieve team oriented KPI’s

Must haves:

Experience in leading in a restaurant environment including table service, managing stock levels and general operations

Ability to provide exceptional hospitality including refined customer service skills

Ability to lead by example and create a motivating and supportive team environment

High level of attention to detail and organisation

Sound technology skills including working with POS, booking and payment systems

Genuine passion for food and beverage industry with ability to understand current trends
