About the role

Riverview Mind Clinic is seeking a highly organised and adaptable Administrative Officer to join our team in Maroochydore, Queensland. This full-time role will provide crucial administrative support to our dedicated healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

What you'll be doing

Providing general administrative support, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records

Administration of Medicare billing, processing payments, invoices, work cover and DVA claims.

Maintaining and organising office supplies and equipment

Implementing and improving administrative processes and procedures to enhance efficiency

Liaising with healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner

Supporting the clinic's operations and contributing to the overall success of the team

What we're looking for

Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders

Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite

Adaptability and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

A passion for healthcare and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Relevant experience in a medical or healthcare administrative role is highly desirable

Familiarity with medical software systems including but not limited to Gentu, Medical Objects, Halaxy, billing systems including Medicare, DVA and Workcover
