Overview
SA Dental is seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Officer to provide vital administrative and business support to our District Manager and broader team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of operations, supporting both our clinical services and organisational goals.
About the Role
As the Business Support Officer, you will:
- Prepare staff rosters and administer leave applications.
- Process timesheets, verify leave forms, and manage HR21 applications.
- Schedule performance reviews, KPI discussions, and arrange training as required.
- Coordinate IT access, swipe cards, and other onboarding needs.
- Administer the process for radiation licence renewals and credentialling.
- Maintain accurate records, collate and input data, and prepare reports.
- Arrange and support meetings, training sessions, and events.
- Manage travel bookings, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Monitor and process staff allowances and related requests.
- Support continuous improvement by reviewing systems, conducting local audits, and undertaking projects as directed.
- All other administrative requests from the District Manager.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- Anticipate and respond to the needs of a travelling District Manager.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking ownership of responsibilities.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
Desirable Characteristics:
- Experience using the Titanium patient record system
- Experience working in a dental or health environment
Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace
