The Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Draftsperson to join our expanding in-house team. This role is pivotal in supporting our design and construction process, ensuring drawings are accurate, compliant, and tailored to each client’s needs.

You will work closely with our sales, design, and construction teams to produce high-quality documentation that helps turn our clients’ visions into reality.

Key Responsibilities

Produce preliminary drawings, working drawings, and contract documentation.

Check contract drawings, prestart variations, and construction variations.

Create and revise sales sketches.

Liaise with engineers, surveyors, energy assessors, and councils.

Ensure all documentation complies with NCC, R-Codes, LDPs, and developer guidelines.

Work collaboratively with the team to meet project timelines and maintain Builder’s Choice’s reputation for excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

Certificate IV in Residential Drafting (or higher).

Minimum 1–2 years’ experience with a Perth-based residential builder.

Strong knowledge of BCA, R-Codes, and relevant planning guidelines.

Proven experience using ArchiCAD & AutoSketch.

High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.

Strong communication skills and a team-first approach.
