About the role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Marketing & Social Media Assistant to join our team at Mandurah Boat Hire. This part-time role will be based in Mandurah but work from home an option and will play a crucial part in developing and executing our digital marketing and social media strategy.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the development and implementation of the company's social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok

Creating and curating engaging content, including photos, videos, and written posts, to build brand awareness and drive customer engagement

Monitoring and responding to customer enquiries and comments on social media in a timely and professional manner

Collaborating with our team and external contractors to develop media that aligns with our digital marketing campaigns

Email marketing, and paid online advertising

Analysing and reporting on the performance of our digital marketing and social media efforts to help inform future strategy

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 year of experience in a marketing or social media role, bonus if within the tourism, hospitality, or leisure industry

Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for content creation and engagement

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences

Creative flair and an eye for design, with the ability to produce visually appealing content

Familiarity with digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and online advertising

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
