Safety Coordinator | Tier 2 Projects | $100k–$140k + Super

We’re partnering with a highly regarded builder with a strong track record delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use developments across Sydney. As they continue to scale, they're looking to appoint multiple Safety Coordinators across major projects valued $100M+.

This is a great opportunity for safety professionals from Tier 1 or Tier 2 backgrounds who are passionate about upholding strong site standards, want to work with experienced site teams, and enjoy embedding best practice into high-performing sites.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as the key safety contact on-site, setting the tone and standards for project teams
• Implement and maintain safety systems and documentation (including Hammertech)
• Manage SWMS reviews, subcontractor inductions, and toolbox talks
• Ensure site compliance through regular audits, inspections, and reporting
• Collaborate with PMs, SMs and Supervisors to drive a positive safety culture
• Proactively manage safety risk, escalation procedures, and incident reporting

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 large-scale project completions in a Safety Coordinator or Site Safety role (must be from a construction head contractor)
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, site systems, and subcontractor management
• Experience with Hammertech or similar site safety systems
• A collaborative mindset and confidence communicating across delivery teams
• Construction safety qualifications (Cert IV WHS or higher)
• Background with Tier 1 or Tier 2 builders preferred
