About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Factory Manager to lead operations at our busy waste recycling facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in waste recycling and proven experience managing teams in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee daily operations of the waste recycling plant, ensuring maximum efficiency and safety

· Lead, manage, and motivate a team of up to 20 staff, including machine operators and support personnel

· Ensure compliance with all environmental, health & safety regulations

· Monitor production targets and implement process improvements where necessary

· Liaise with maintenance teams to minimise downtime and maintain equipment

· Report to senior management on performance, KPIs, and operational issues

Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a waste recycling facility or similar heavy industry environment

· Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of 20

· Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations within a recycling or factory setting

· Hands-on approach with the ability to step in and assist on the floor when needed

· Strong communication and organisational skills
