Position: Civil Draftsperson
Location: Sippy Downs, QLD

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Draftsperson to join our office-based team on full-time civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and hands-on experience in drafting technical drawings using CAD software.

Salary:
$75,000 – $90,000 per annum (plus superannuation)

Responsibilities:

Draft and design detailed technical drawings for civil engineering projects using CAD software.

Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and other professionals to gather requirements and integrate design specifications.

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawing revisions, specifications, and reports.

Review designs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards and regulations.

Conduct site visits to gather data and ensure designs comply with local regulations and site conditions.

Update and modify existing drawings based on feedback from engineers or project managers.

Provide technical support during the construction phase of projects.

Skills and Expertise:

Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Good understanding of civil engineering principles and standards.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in civil drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.

Relevant work experience in civil drafting or engineering.

Professional certification (if applicable) is an advantage.
