An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join a busy Disputes team at a leading law firm in Sydney. You’ll provide direct support to a highly respected Partner who is passionate about mentoring and developing their team.
This role is ideal for someone with previous legal assistant experience who wants to gain exposure to a fast-paced, high-profile disputes practice. Students in their first year of studies are also encouraged to apply.

What you’ll be doing
- Provide high-level administrative support to a Partner and their team, managing diaries, travel, and meetings;
- Assist with matter management, document preparation, and formatting with precision and attention to detail;
- Take ownership of billing, reporting, and time recording processes; and
- Coordinate client engagement, including arranging events, catch-ups, and business development activities.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant within a busy practice group;
- Strong time management skills with the ability to balance competing deadlines;
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the confidence to anticipate needs;
- A collaborative approach with a genuine interest in supporting others; and
- We are also open to law students in their early years of study who bring prior Legal Assistant experience and can commit to a full-time role.
