Join a high-profile NSW Government organisation on its cyber transformation journey. We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to strengthen governance, risk and compliance capability and to ensure the protection of critical systems, data and third-party relationships.

Responsbilities:

• Conduct cyber security risk assessments and report on findings with clear treatment plans.
• Perform third-party due diligence to ensure compliance with the assurance framework.
• Support and maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned to ISO 27001, NIST, Essential 8 and NSW Cyber Security Policy.
• Assist with the development of policies, standards and procedures for information security.
• Provide governance across audits, assurance and cyber control effectiveness testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Procurement, Legal, Risk, Privacy and IT

About You:

• Degree-level qualifications in Cyber Security or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated success in governance, risk and compliance activities, including security risk assessments and third-party assurance.
• Experience applying security frameworks such as NSW Cyber Security Policy, ISO27001, SOC2, or NIST CSF.
• Strong understanding of network/security protocols, authentication, IAM, cryptography, and threat modelling.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, ISO27001 LA/LI) are highly regarded.
