Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing organisation-wide ICT Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and System Contingency strategies.
• Evaluating risks and identifying capability gaps in crisis response and infrastructure resilience.
• Embedding cyber security and business continuity principles into contingency planning processes.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and Disaster Recovery technologies, including backup systems and cloud environments.
• Awareness of cyber threat methods and their potential impact on recovery operations.
• Applying recognised standards and frameworks for contingency planning, such as NIST 800-34, ISM, and ISO 27001 / 22301.
• Leading simulation exercises, recovery tests, and conducting post-incident analysis.
• Deploying best practice continuity measures within cloud environments.
• Ensuring BCP and DR initiatives align with enterprise risk management and audit requirements.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Minimum of five years’ experience in cyber security and business continuity
• Past experience with disaster recovery scenario's, continuity planning, crisis management plans.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, cloud environments, and cybersecurity principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
