About the Role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, this Senior Project Accountant role will focus on the financial management of large-scale touring projects across Australia and internationally. You'll partner with production and commercial teams to deliver accurate reporting, forecasting, and project analysis, ensuring successful financial outcomes for some of the biggest names in entertainment.

Duties

Manage project accounting for touring shows and events, including budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations

Prepare month-end reporting and variance analysis for key stakeholders

Oversee project cashflows and ensure accurate allocation of costs

Partner with production and commercial teams to provide financial insights and decision support

Contribute to process improvements and system efficiencies within project accounting

Ensure compliance with reporting standards and support year-end audits as required

Skills & Experience

CA/CPA qualified (or in progress)

4-6+ years' accounting experience, ideally with exposure to project accounting or commercial analysis

Strong financial modelling and Excel skills; exposure to ERP systems (SAP/Netsuite) advantageous

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate financial information clearly

Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
