A family owned and operated manufacturer of Expanded Metal in Charmhaven has a vacancy for an experienced person with fitting and machining or mechanical trade qualifications to join a small team.

This position involves all aspects of our operations, including setting up, operating and maintaining metal stamping, slitting and guillotining machines, receiving, packing and dispatch of products.

A current driver's license is essential, and LF Forklift and an MR truck license would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will have a cheerful disposition, be very reliable and have a positive "can do" attitude.

We work a 38 hour week, 7 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday with an RDO every 4 weeks. There is normally no weekend work but at times mid-week overtime is required.

We are looking for a permanent long-term employee and an attractive salary is offered for the right applicant.
