Our client, a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, is on the hunt for a skilled Day Shift Maintenance Fitter to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and experienced fitter to play a key role in a state-of-the-art production facility.

As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll be the go-to person for keeping the site's critical machinery running. Your day-to-day will involve a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown work. You'll need a keen eye for detail and a knack for troubleshooting to ensure production targets are met with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment.

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and some basic electrical faults.

Working to strict health and safety standards.

Collaborating with the production team to ensure a seamless operation.

What We're Looking For

A qualified Maintenance Fitter with a relevant Australian trade certificate.

Demonstrable experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with previous experience in food manufacturing being a significant advantage.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

A reliable and self-motivated individual who works well both independently and as part of a team.
