As an AO5 Project Support Officer, you’ll be the go to person for keeping things moving – from governance and reporting through to stakeholder engagement and day-to-day project coordination.
What you’ll be doing

• Preparing governance documents: project reports, steering committee papers and briefing notes
• Supporting governance frameworks, approvals, escalations and compliance requirements
• Managing project documentation, registers and records with accuracy and attention to detail
• Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and recording minutes
• Tracking milestones, deliverables and budgets to keep the project on track
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery

What we’re looking for

• Experience in project support within a complex environment (public sector background highly valued)
• Strong grasp of project management principles and governance frameworks
• Excellent organisational skills, juggling priorities and deadlines with ease
• Confident communicator with sharp writing and reporting skills
• Detail oriented, proactive, and ready to support a busy team

Desirable

• Class C driver’s licence
• Experience on large infrastructure projects
• Experience within large QLD state government departments
