Position Overview
Our RTO is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Recruitment Officer (Marketing Manager) to join our growing team. This role is designed to strategically lead student recruitment initiatives while strengthening our brand visibility through targeted marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of two years' experience in sales recruitment and/or marketing, and will play a key role in supporting the institution’s enrolment objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement student recruitment strategies across domestic and international markets.
Identify and engage prospective students through digital outreach, client visits, and community events.
Manage the full recruitment pipeline, including lead generation, follow-ups, and conversion tracking.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, applications, and enrolment metrics.
Plan, design, and execute marketing campaigns to promote courses and increase enrolments.
Create and manage content for digital platforms, including the website, email newsletters, and social media.
Collaborate with admissions and academic departments to produce course-specific promotional materials.
Monitor and analyse marketing performance data to inform future campaigns.
Liaise with the Operational Manager to ensure alignment of recruitment messaging with institutional goals.
Build and maintain relationships with partner agents and community organisations.
Represent our RTO at external events and exhibitions as required.
Selection Criteria
Essential:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales, recruitment, or marketing role—preferably within the education sector.
Strong understanding of recruitment pipelines and marketing best practices.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. social media, email, student management system/RTOM).
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise competing deadlines.
Desirable:
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Education, or a related discipline.
Previous experience working in an educational institution or Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or any related industry.
Knowledge of the Australian education system, particularly vocational and higher education pathways.
