Your new role:

As a valued member of the Logan Adult Wellbeing Team, you will leverage your personal lived experience to support and inspire consumers on their recovery journey. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to deliver person-centred care that fosters resilience and empowerment.

  • Co-develop, deliver, and evaluate education and wellbeing activities within the Adult Mental Health Services.
  • Provide formal peer support, practical assistance, and tailored education to help consumers build skills for mental and physical health recovery.
  • Mentor and guide peer workers, promoting the values and principles of peer support within the team.
  • Collaborate with NGOs, government agencies, and internal teams to enhance consumer engagement and recovery-oriented practice.

About you:

You are passionate about using your lived experience to make a meaningful difference in mental health recovery. You possess strong communication and mentoring skills and are committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative environment for consumers and colleagues alike.

  • Demonstrated experience in peer support with a deep understanding of recovery frameworks and person-centred care.
  • Ability to share your recovery story authentically to inspire hope and self-advocacy in others.
  • Skilled in working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and community organisations.
  • Committed to continuous professional development, supervision, and improving service quality.
