Assisi Aged Care is a not for profit provider of residential aged care services for Melbourne's Italian community, located in the leafy north eastern suburb of Rosanna.

About the Role

We are looking a friendly, reliable and customer focused individual who is eager to join a dedicated team in our on-site industrial size laundry. The role requires washing, drying, folding clothing and linen, and returning it to residents after laundering, and upholding the highest standards of infection control practices.

This is a permanent full time role, for 75 hours per fortnight, working weekdays, Monday to Friday from 7.00am until 3.00pm (10 days per fortnight).

About You

Ideally, you will have prior experience in a similar cleaning or laundry role but it is not essential as on the job training will be provided. You will have good attention to detail, a moderate level of physical fitness, enjoy working in a team environment and possess a customer service mindset. You will feel comfortable working with older people in an aged care setting. The ability to speak Italian is highly regarded. Candidates must have permanent work rights or be Australian citizens.
