The Role
As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the comfort and dignity of our residents by providing a high-quality laundry service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Washing, ironing, folding, and labelling residents’ personal clothing with care and attention to detail.
• Operating the Toro truck for laundry collection and delivery.
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic laundry environment, ensuring infection control procedures are followed.
• Reporting safety hazards or defective equipment promptly.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Current Victorian Driver’s Licence – must have

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check – must have

Experience in laundry services or a related field – desirable

Good time management and communication skills

Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards and infection control practices
