About the Role
The City of Kwinana has a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Sports and Programs Team Leader to join the award-winning team at Kwinana Recquatic. Reporting to the Kwinana Recquatic Manager, you will coordinate and deliver quality sport and lifestyle programs for all age groups at the Kwinana Recquatic. You will lead the Sports and Programs Team in creating a customer centric environment, building a strong rapport with community members and ensure continuous improvement to service delivery. The successful incumbent will closely monitor, respond to and report on program and business development objectives.

About You
To be successful in this position, you will require the following:

Comprehensive understanding of sports and programs offered within a recreation centre setting.

Demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities by inspiring and motivating team members, setting clear goals, and providing guidance and support.

Strong organisational skills to effectively plan, coordinate, and manage both your own tasks, and that of your team.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information, provide feedback, and maintain open lines of communication with team members and external stakeholders.

Experience promoting and marketing programs/services in an innovative way that drives growth.

Tertiary qualification in Business, Recreation, or equivalent level of experience.

Provide First Aid Certificate, Police Clearance and Driver’s Licence.
