We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Team Leader who shares our values to join our team in Derby.

We currently looking for Team Leader:

The role is responsible in developing and maintaining strong, positive relationships with individuals we support and their families. This partnership approach will help to set and achieve goals in a person and family-centred way.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Demonstrate understanding and respect of individuals rights to exercise choice and control in the delivery of supports.

Ensuring the plans meet all Qualitative Criteria for the Quality Management Framework and all reporting requirements to NDIA

Reviewing and monitoring individual plans, seeking regular feedback from staff and the individual, their family and carers to update or change strategies where required.

Provide mentoring and coaching to support staff to ensure delivery of high-quality services

Providing supports to participants

Essential Requirements

Demonstrated values driven and person centred-approach to provide support for people with disabilities, their families and carers.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the National Standards for Disability Services.

Experience in planning, coordinating and monitoring supports and services for people with disabilities, their families and carers.

Demonstrated ability to lead a work group, set priorities and monitor workflows.

Demonstrated high level of verbal, written and / or communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets.

Certificate IV or higher in Community Services or Disability Sector.

A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than three months old.

NDIS Worker's Screening (or willingness to obtain).

Desirable requirements

Understanding of the unique culture of the Kimberley region, including the diversity of cultures within rural, remote, and very remote communities which make up this region.

A minimum of 2 years' experience in planning, team leading , and monitoring disability support services

Specific high intensity disability certifications relevant to the skill descriptors and the participants we support e.g. Autism, ABI, FASD, Auslan, epilepsy, mealtime management, positive behaviour support, medications.

Demonstrated experience in Supervising Staff

Demonstrated experience in Report Writing
