Port Melbourne Secondary College is an exciting new school, located in the growing Fishermans Bend Precinct in Melbourne. Our state-of-the-art facilities complement our unique focus on design thinking for innovation, and building future learners, leaders, and entrepreneurs. Our students are special people who, from their very first experiences in Year 7, enjoy learning that is inquisitive, innovative, and collaborative. Having opened in 2022, we now have four year levels, with Year 11 being introduced in 2026.
Our four College values are at the core of who we are. We build strong Character in our community, so that Relationships are positive, rich, and nurturing of the individual. These elements enable our students (and staff) to Endeavour in the things that they pursue, so that personal Excellence can be achieved. These values also form the foundation for our actions, our language, our attitude, and the behaviours we expect from others. All College staff lead these values so that our students share in our purpose and vision.
As we move to introduce the senior years at the College, we are looking for positive, dynamic, and hardworking professionals who want to help us continue to build an amazing school. And this goes beyond the confines of the classroom; we are expanding our exciting programs that enable our students to excel in whatever their passions might be. Successful candidates will have a "can do" attitude, and they will relish opportunities for collaboration and working in strong teams. They encourage their students to embrace challenge, and they will thrive in a growing community that is passionate about the future.
All members of staff at our school are well-supported by a rigorous Professional Growth program, providing opportunities for development, leadership, and personal endeavour. They enjoy strong social bonds and working in an environment where their expertise is celebrated and shared with their colleagues. We value the experiences of each member of staff, and encourage all to contribute to one another's learning and development.
Outstanding candidates are invited to apply for this exciting opportunity at our school, where your impact in our foundational years will set the course for our future.
