Evening classes - AMEP & English Language Teaching Roles – Adult Learners | South-East Melbourne
We’re recruiting passionate English language teachers for the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) and other adult learning streams across South-East Melbourne for evening classes.
Evening classes run from 6-9pm, a full time evening teacher would teach 3 evenings and 2 days a week.
Bright Spark Recruitment is contracted with a government body to recruit qualified teachers for the delivery of the AMEP program, helping newly arrived migrants and refugees gain the language skills they need to settle confidently and thrive in their new communities.

Locations
📍 Teaching is delivered face-to-face on campus only — at multiple sites across South-East Melbourne.
Your Role as an AMEP/English Language Teacher
Deliver practical, engaging English lessons tailored to adult migrants and refugee learners.
Use flexible, learner-centred approaches suitable for mixed-level and culturally diverse groups.
Support students’ settlement goals through language, literacy, and confidence building.
Contribute to lesson planning and maintain essential program compliance and reporting.
What You’ll Bring
A postgraduate TESOL qualification with 60 hours teaching practicum (Certificate IV TESOL or CELTA alone does not meet eligibility criteria).
An undergraduate degree.
Experience teaching adults in AMEP, ELICOS, community, or settlement programs with proven practicum from your education provider
A strong commitment to inclusive, learner-focused teaching and positive outcomes.
Desirable: TAE qualification or VIT registration.
