We're looking for a passionate and community-focused Barrbunin Beek Health Officer (Aboriginal Identified) to deliver programs and activities at a local Gathering Place. This role is all about strengthening inclusion, access, and wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

What you'll do:

🌟 Coordinate and deliver programs and activities at the Gathering Place

🤝 Build strong partnerships with local organisations

🗣️ Represent the Committee in community engagement

📋 Ensure compliance with OH&S and organisational policies

🧭 Develop an action plan aligned with the Strategic Plan and help secure funding

🚀 Drive initiatives that create meaningful outcomes for community members

What you'll bring:

This is an Aboriginal Identified position - you must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (a genuine occupational requirement under s.14 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010).

Strong community engagement and relationship-building skills

Ability to work independently while being a team player

Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and health priorities

What's on offer:

💰 $39.37 - $45.49 per hour (depending on experience)

⏱ Part-time - 16 hours per week

📍 Based in Heidelberg West
