Position Purpose
We’re seeking a hands-on Team Leader to support day-to-day operations across recruitment, rostering, client care, and our after-hours team, ensuring a high-quality, responsive service to our aged care clients. You’ll work closely with the Head of Operations and key internal teams both onshore and offshore, solving problems, guiding team members, and helping drive performance on the ground.

Roles and Responsibilities

Operational Support & Coordination

Act as a key escalation point for issues in recruitment, rostering, client care, and the after-hours team

Provide hands-on support for smooth shift coverage, especially during peak periods or staff absences

Respond promptly to client queries, arranging team support or targeted training as needed

Coordinate workflows across recruitment, compliance, and after-hours teams

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, support, and mentor both onshore and offshore team members

Recognise individual strengths and promote professional growth

Participate in performance reviews and structured development initiatives

Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture

Service Delivery & Process Improvement

Ensure operational execution aligns with strategic goals and client expectations

Track key operational metrics and identify areas for improvement

Support rollout of initiatives that boost team efficiency and client experience

Stay up to date with aged care standards and compliance requirements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate across internal departments and Chandler Holdings sister brands

Contribute to company-wide improvement initiatives and projects

Personal Attributes

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Reliable, organised, and confident in managing multiple priorities

Collaborative, empathetic, and skilled at motivating and mentoring others

Experience & Skills

Leadership or coordination experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Experience managing offshore or remote teams highly regarded

Familiarity with workforce scheduling, rostering systems, or recruitment CRMs

Operational awareness with ability to track performance metrics and recommend improvements

Current Australian driver’s licence (company car provided)
