Position Overview

We are seeking a Design & Sales Specialist to join our team, someone with extensive experience in renovating kitchens and bathrooms. This role will blend creative design acumen with strategic client engagement to deliver exceptional and personalised renovation experiences.

Core Responsibilities:

Design & Concept Development

Proficiency in design software, particularly SketchUp (essential)

Lead design efforts for kitchen, bathroom, and laundry projects, combining functionality and aesthetics

Offer expert guidance on layout optimisation, material selection, and fixture choices

Coordinate design refinements based on client preferences, site constraints, and practical considerations

Client Engagement & Sales

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through to project handover

Conduct on-site consultations, assessing client needs, vision, budgets, timelines, and any design constraints

Present tailored design proposals with clarity, mood boards, and materials galleries

Manage the sales process, preparing transparent and accurate quotes, responding to client questions, and concluding agreements

Project Support & Coordination

Liaise with trades, suppliers to ensure design intent is accurately realized onsite

Industry Insight & Client Education

Stay current with renovation trends, emerging materials, and best practices within Melbourne’s renovation landscape

Educate clients on renovation planning, budget allocation, lighting, storage solutions, and layout considerations

Provide proactive recommendations on aesthetic trends and functional upgrades that elevate project outcomes

Your Experience & Skills

Essentials:

Substantial experience in design & Sales roles specifically focused on kitchen and bathroom renovations

Strong understanding of renovation lifecycle—from pre-design to final installation

Outstanding communication, negotiation, and client-relations skills

Ability to deliver compelling proposals, transparent quotes, and support clients through every stage of renovation

What We Offer

Base salary of $80,000 – $90,000 + super + commission
