Join the dynamic team at SCB Legal as a Family Law Solicitor in our Penrith, NSW office. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to clients on a wide range of family law matters. What you'll be doing

Advising clients on matters related to divorce, separation, parenting, child support, property settlement and other family law issues

Preparing and reviewing legal documents such as divorce applications, parenting and financial agreements, and Court documents

Representing clients in court proceedings, including mediation, negotiation, and litigation

Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date with changes in family law legislation and case law

Collaborating with other legal professionals, such as barristers and expert witnesses, to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients

Providing exceptional client service and maintaining strong client relationships

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Family Law Solicitor, with a strong understanding of family law principles and procedures

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner

Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills, with a proven track record of achieving favourable outcomes for clients

Proficient in legal research, analysis, and the preparation of legal documents

A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and exceeding client expectations

Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
