Prime Lawyers is a multi-practice-area firm with its foundation in Family Law, having maintained a strong Family Law department for over 20 years.

We therefore ARE NOT a Family Law Firm. We offer much more to our clients and likewise, our Family Lawyers.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time family lawyer to join our dynamic and experienced team, working from our Sutherland office and servicing the Sutherland Shire and the Greater Sydney Metropolitan area.

Team Culture. There is a reason we are referred to as the “Prime Family”

Remuneration. Bill an average of 3.5 hours a day (a mere 17.5 hours a week) and targets are already met. Happy to put in a bit extra? Great. The job comes with a bonus scheme, heavily in the employee's favour when compared to the usual models implemented by other firms. Happy with the base salary and spending more time with family? That's also fine by us.

Family oriented. Need to start late to be able to drop the kids off at school? That's fine, because that's life. We encourage a true work-life balance.

Flexible work hours available to the right candidate. Not everyone's circumstances are the same, but that doesn't mean that a good opportunity should be missed. We can work with you to come up with the right balance.

No requirement to bring in work. Leave that to us!

Work-life balance. Not only do we not expect solicitors to work back or work on weekends, we actively discourage it. Responding to emails outside of business hours is not how to maintain a good work-life balance. And we DO NOT provide our mobile numbers to clients.

Job Security. Well established firm, with multiple locations and several practice areas. We are proud of the fact that many employees have attained their Long Service at Prime.

Multiple practice areas. Have a complex property, estates or equity issue arise in a matter? Have a client also charged with serious domestic violence offences? Speak to one of your colleagues with expertise in the area and we will take care of it; whether just providing advice or taking on that aspect of the matter. Or, you might be a family lawyer who enjoys breaking out into other areas of law. The opportunities are available.

Experience. Work with a team of senior lawyers, including Accredited Specialists, and enjoy building relationships with senior practitioners from our other practice areas. You will have the backing of an experienced, well-rounded team.
