Job Title: Disability Support Worker

Location: Geelong, Metro Melbourne, Bendigo.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Geelong, Metro Melbourne, Bendigo areas . As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with dementia experience.

Assist with daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and household chores.

Foster a safe and supportive environment that promotes independence and autonomy.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders.

Implement individualized care plans and support strategies in accordance with Beyond Choice policies and procedures.

Monitor and report any changes in client behaviour or health status to the appropriate team members.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role, particularly working with individuals with behaviours of concerns , ABI and dementia, is highly desirable.

Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine passion for helping others.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, based on client needs.

Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Working with children check or willingness to obtain one.

NDIS Worker screening check or willingness to obtain one.
