About the Role
We're looking for a strong, adaptable leader to join our team as Learning Design Manager. In this pivotal role, you'll shape a market-leading portfolio of training products that drive engagement and deliver measurable outcomes for our students.
Working across genU Training and Activ Pathways, you'll ensure high-quality, compliant, and innovative learning programs are consistently delivered to ambitious timeframes. This is a role where strategy meets action. You'll set the direction, lead your team, and bring stakeholders along on the journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and delivery of engaging, compliant training programs that meet VET/ASQA and industry standards.
- Scope, plan, and manage projects; balancing time, budget, and resources while keeping your team focused and on track.
- Build strong partnerships with government, industry, and internal stakeholders to ensure programs are practical and impactful.
- Champion continuous improvement, quality, and compliance across all learning products and audits.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse, high-performing team in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Drive innovation in learning design through technology, tools, and the effective use of the LMS.
What You'll Bring
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of inspiring teams to deliver innovative, practical, and compliant learning programs (accredited and non-accredited).
- In-depth knowledge of the VET sector, including ASQA standards, compliance requirements, and instructional design best practice.
- Strong project management skills, able to juggle competing priorities while applying creativity, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Hands-on experience with eLearning authoring tools and media production (e.g. Articulate, Rise) and a keen eye for user experience and visual design.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to build networks, engage stakeholders, and manage expectations.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) is essential.
