Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter or Maintenance Electrician ready to step into a leadership role? Our client, a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to join their high performing engineering team.

The Role As the Maintenance Team Lead, you will oversee a team of skilled maintenance fitters and electricians, ensuring plant reliability, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement across all production lines. This hands on leadership role requires both technical expertise and strong people management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and mentor the maintenance team to deliver proactive and reactive maintenance.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules to maximise equipment uptime.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and ensure quick, safe, and effective repairs.
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of production equipment.

About You

• Trade qualified (Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Electrician)
• Proven experience in a food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
• Solid troubleshooting and fault finding skills across mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems and CMMS desirable.What’s on Offer
