Maintenance Electrician – Leading Food Manufacturer
Location: Clayfield, QLD
Shifts: Rotating across 3 weeks. Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 5am-3pm with a paid lunch hour. Week 2 - Tuesday to Saturday 5am-1pm - the Saturday shift is time and a half. Week 3 - Monday to Friday 3pm-11pm with 15% shift loading

Rate: $49.46 + super + shift loadings

Due to continued growth and investment across the facility, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to support the team and keep production running at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across production and packaging lines
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on machinery and plant systems
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure minimal downtime
• Assist in continuous improvement projects and capital upgrades
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations
• Accurately complete documentation and maintenance records

What You’ll Bring:

• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• Experience in a fast paced manufacturing or industrial environment (food manufacturing highly regarded)
• Strong fault-finding and PLC troubleshooting skills (Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Solid understanding of WHS standards and safe work practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
