Our client is a financial business in Clayton seeking a Payroll Officer to join their business. This is a full-time permanent position you will be processing payroll in a standalone payroll position.

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly processing for 300 employees using Wage easy payroll software
  • Processing new starters, terminations, Masterfile changes, overtime, leave processing and report checking
  • Interpretating relevant awards/EBA's and applying relevant policies
  • Adjustment calculations
  • Assisting with Work Cover administration
  • Answering payroll queries

Candidate Profile

  • Our client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:
  • 2+ years of payroll experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
