About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable First Nations person to join our team as a Diversity & Employment Facilitator.
The Diversity & Employment Facilitator is responsible for designing and delivering programs that prepare participants for sustainable employment while promoting cultural inclusion and awareness in the workplace. The role focuses on building participants’ confidence, skills, and readiness for work through tailored training and support, while also engaging with employers to foster culturally safe and inclusive practices. By bridging the gap between community and industry, the facilitator empowers individuals to thrive in employment and contributes to stronger, more respectful workplaces.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate in pre-employment and workplace readiness programs as part of a team.
Deliver engaging training sessions on cultural inclusion and respectful workplace practices.
Create safe, culturally appropriate spaces that encourage open discussion and reflection.
Support participants to build confidence, resilience, and practical skills for employment.
Contribute to the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of programs.
Work with Employment Mentors to reinforce learning beyond the training.
About You
Strong knowledge of First Nations cultures, histories, and community perspectives.
Experience in facilitation, training, or community engagement.
Ability to engage participants with a supportive, trauma-informed approach.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse groups.
Passion for creating positive change and improving employment outcomes.
Willingness to travel within Perth and regional WA, including the ability to undertake placements of up to 8 weeks, with return home on weekends all travel expenses covered

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications: To be eligible to work for us, you need to have:
National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
Cert IV in Training and Facilitation (desirable)
A valid Australian Drivers Licence
A valid Working with Children’s Card (or ability to obtain)
