Salary range between $105,314 - $113,908 per annum depending on skills/experience, + superannuation.
Salary packaging (up to $15,899 a year, + meal/entertainment benefit of $2,650 a year).
5 weeks annual leave per year
Christmas shut down period credited as additional leave.

Whadjuk Aboriginal Corporation represents the Traditional Owners of the Whadjuk region of the southwest of Western Australia. We work to manage native title benefits, while also advancing and strengthening Noongar culture, language, heritage, and society.
Role description
Lead the coordination and management of relationships across the creative and cultural sectors, including arts organisations, cultural institutions, education providers, and industry partners. This role focuses on fostering collaboration, supporting talent pipelines, and creating opportunities that drive innovation, community engagement, and sustainable growth within the creative industries, while ensuring activities align with cultural protocols and the strategic priorities of the Corporation.

Duties
Build and maintain strategic partnerships across the creative and cultural sector.
Develop collaborative projects and programs with industry and community stakeholders.
Facilitate pathways for emerging creatives into professional industries.
Organise events, workshops, and forums to connect creatives with industry leaders.
Advocate for the value of the creative industries in education, economic development, and cultural life.
Monitor trends and opportunities to expand networks and impact.
Encourage and facilitate community participation in arts and cultural activities.
Collect and analyse feedback to tailor programs to community needs.
Plan and manage projects including scopes, timelines, budgets, procurement, and risk registers, ensuring timely delivery and acquittals.
Lead Monitoring & Evaluation: set KPIs, gather data/feedback, and produce reports and dashboards for the CEO, Board and funders.
Prepare briefings, reports and presentations for the CEO, Board and Committees.
Ensure all activities follow cultural protocols, IP rights, consent processes and safeguarding requirements.
Maintain accurate records in SharePoint/Teams and CRM systems, and use Adobe for collateral where required.
Represent the Corporation at regional/state cultural networks and sector forums to advocate for Noongar arts and culture.
Other duties as required.
Selection criteria
Essentials
Demonstrated experience engaging Traditional Owners and Noongar communities with culturally safe practice and protocol compliance.
Strong project management: workplans, budgets, procurement, risk, and grant acquittals.
Monitoring & Evaluation: set KPIs, collect/analyse data, and report outcomes to leadership/funders.
Stakeholder engagement and partnership brokering across arts/culture, education, industry and community.
Advanced communication (written/oral) with the ability to prepare briefings, reports and presentations for CEO/Board/Committees.
Digital capability: SharePoint/Teams, CRM, Adobe (basic collateral), and familiarity with BoardPro, Microsoft Office
Knowledge of cultural IP, consent and media protocols; event safeguarding and risk management.
Tertiary qualification in Arts, Cultural Development, Community Engagement or related field (or equivalent experience)
Current Driver’s Licence; ability to travel and work after-hours/weekends when required
Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain.
Desirable
Knowledge of local government operations and community development principles.
Specific Requirements
From time to time this position will be required to attend events and may be required to work outdoors.
