With a focus on exceptional produce, seasonal menus, and an elevated yet relaxed dining experience, we are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join the team.

As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in leading the kitchen team, supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day operations, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, contemporary dishes. You'll have the chance to contribute to menu development, work closely with regional producers, and bring your skills to a dynamic food & wine environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the management of daily kitchen operations

Lead and motivate the team in the Head Chef's absence

Contribute to menu design and innovation with seasonal, local produce

Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment

Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen administration

About You

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong background as a Senior Chef de Partie in a high-quality kitchen

Passionate about local produce and modern Australian cuisine

Strong leadership and communication skills

Organised, professional, and committed to excellence

A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
